Thoughts

Oh Man

Guys I’m in one of those it’s-late-at-night deep philosophical moods again. Which is why instead of forcing my thoughts in the open I shall keep them in their cage, close my laptop, and sleep. Because Tired thoughts alone in my room are very rarely happy thoughts. Although the more I think about the more I’m realizing that I am pretty happy. Just tired. So Goodnight Tumblr! (also to those who recently followed me you should probably get used to posts that are all about me and my weird crazy thoughts, hope you don’t mind, I’ll try to keep it light)

"I am in High School and I'm dating someone which is pretty cool and all, but we are having some trouble finding a place to make out. So where is the place that all the cool teenagers go to make out?"

I want to see adults be able to say, ‘I am openly gay and want to teach them how to become leaders.’ … Simply because you’ve been teaching something for a long amount of time doesn’t mean it’s right.
Pascal Tessier, an openly gay Eagle Scout from Maryland. The Boy Scouts of America’s new policy allowing LGBT scouts took effect yesterday, but activists are still pushing for a change that allows openly LGBT adult leaders, too. (via Patch)

facts-i-just-made-up:

Poachers today killed the last Sumatran Tigger.
"Tiggers were always rare, some said the wonderful thing about them was that this was the only one," said Dr. Robin of the International Tigger Conservancy, "I don’t know what we’ll do now that they’re gone from the Earth. I suppose it now becomes an issue of genetic conservation- The hope that one day they might walk the Earth again. After all, bouncing back is what Tiggers do- Did best.”
The Tigger (Panthera Tiggris Milnes) was best known for its unique propensity for congregating with other animals, including bears, pigs, donkeys and rabbits, some of which were also its natural prey. Unfortunately, the Tigger was also known for its pelt, a key product in construction of furry fandom costumes. Another unique trait of the Tigger was its coiled, springlike spinal column, which held up to 45 coils in the tail alone.
Though the Tigger’s time on Earth has come to a close, there is still hope for the related Watterson’s Tiger. Though there is only one left and the species can no longer breed, the single tiger is likely to remain immortal- As long as you believe.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
right in the childhood.

Back in April, a woman in Irvine, California put up a rainbow flag outside her home to show support for the LGBT community, and her neighbors responded with an array of anti-gay messages. So for the holidays this year, she put up this massive display of rainbow lights all over her house. Damn right. (via the Huffington Post)
